1. Information we collect

Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, account identifiers, and your selected Home School. A fan has one Home School. You may optionally provide a mobile phone number and separately opt in to informational or promotional text messages.

Community activity. We may process favorite-player selections, participation preferences, stories, photos, comments, submissions, and communications you choose to send through our services.

Membership and transactions. If you purchase a Super Fan membership or another paid service, our payment providers process the payment details. We may receive the membership level, transaction status, and identifiers needed to administer the purchase.

Technical information. Like other websites, we may receive device, browser, IP address, approximate location, cookie, diagnostic, and interaction data needed for site operation, reliability, security, and measurement.

2. How we use information

We use information to create and administer accounts; identify your Home School; personalize player, community, and alumni experiences; provide features you request; process contributions and purchases; respond to support inquiries; protect our systems; and understand how visitors use YAT?STATS.

When you have separately opted in, we may send texts about the Home School community, player and community alerts, or promotional information corresponding to the specific consent choices you selected. Registration, furnishing a phone number, or consenting to email does not by itself authorize SMS marketing.

3. Mobile messaging and consent

YAT?STATS is the sender of the YAT?STATS-operated messaging program. For example, a fan might subscribe to updates about HAMILTON BASEBALL powered by YAT?STATS. The school name identifies the community topic, not a separate transfer of your SMS consent to an independent business.

If you provide a mobile number and check an optional SMS consent box, we may retain the consent selection, disclosure language or version, date and time, school association, and originating signup page as evidence of permission. Informational and promotional text preferences are separate and are unchecked by default.

Message frequency varies based on subscribed alerts and activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe from YAT?STATS text messages or HELP for assistance. You may also contact info@yatstats.com. Consent is optional and is not required to register or purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell or share SMS opt-in data, phone numbers, or messaging consent with third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be handled by service providers only as needed to operate and deliver the YAT?STATS messaging program; they are not authorized to use your SMS consent for their own marketing.

4. When information may be disclosed

We may use service providers to support account authentication, hosting, databases, communications, payment processing, security, and analytics. Those providers receive information needed to perform services on our behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law, to address misuse or security risks, or in connection with a legitimate business transition subject to applicable safeguards.

Content you deliberately post to public community areas, such as a player memory or comment, may be visible to other visitors. Please avoid including private contact information in publicly shared stories or images. Our sharing of general website information does not override the stricter mobile-number and SMS-consent restrictions stated above.

5. Cookies and outside services

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for sign-in, site preferences, functionality, fraud prevention, and measurement. Pages may contain links or embedded content from other services, which have their own privacy practices. You can control many cookies through your browser, although disabling required storage may limit account features.

6. Retention, security, and your choices

We retain personal information while it is reasonably needed to provide services, document consent, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, or safeguard operations. We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information, but no online transmission or storage system is completely secure.

You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP. For requests to access, correct, or delete account information, or to ask about your privacy choices, email info@yatstats.com. Some information may need to be retained for legitimate legal, transaction, or compliance reasons.

7. Children and school communities

YAT?STATS includes information about high-school baseball, but its accounts and messaging subscriptions are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information that should be removed, contact us. Users under the age of majority should use the service with appropriate parent or guardian involvement.

8. Policy changes and contact

We may revise this policy when services or practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate.
